From Komoro Station, the JR Bus Kanto's "Takamine Kogen line" goes to Takamine Kogen Hotel, near the trailhead. This bus also originates from Sakudaira Station.

Taxis are available from Komoro Station for direct transport to the Takamine Kogen area.

Train
Recommended
Take the train to Komoro Station. From Karuizawa, use the Shinano Railway Line. From Nagano City, take the Shinano Railway. From Tokyo, take the Hokuriku Shinkansen to Sakudaira Station, then a local train to Komoro Station.

Car
Drive to the Komoro Interchange (IC) on the Joshinetsu Expressway, then follow the mountain roads to Takamine Kogen. Parking is available near the trailhead.
