How to get there

Bus
Recommended
Take the Alpico Kotsu bus (numbers 70 or 71) from Nagano Station's Zenkoji Exit, stop 7. Get off at Togakushi-Chusha for the Ninja Village (15-20 min walk) or Togakushi-Okushairiguchi for the Upper Shrine.

Car
Recommended
Drive from central Nagano via the Togakushi Bird Line. Paid parking is available near the Okusha entrance and free parking near other shrines.

Taxi
Recommended
Taxis are available from Nagano Station. The ride takes approximately 25-30 minutes to the Togakushi area.

Walking
Walking is necessary between bus stops/parking areas and the shrine complex, including the 2km cedar-lined path to the Okusha.
