The tram, when operational, departs from various city stops, including Rundle Mall and Victoria Square, and terminates at Moseley Square in Glenelg, which is a short 6-minute walk to Marina Pier.

A dedicated bicycle path, the Mike Turtur Bikeway, offers a scenic and safe route from the Adelaide CBD to Glenelg. The journey by bike takes approximately 30 minutes each way.
