Hike from Nuwara Eliya town to the summit, approximately 4 km, taking 1.5 to 2 hours. The trail goes through tea plantations.

Cycling is possible, but the steep and winding roads of Single Tree Hill Road can be challenging.
Bus
Take a bus towards Kandy and alight near Single Tree Hill. From the bus stop, walk approximately 500 meters uphill along a dirt road to reach the trail entrance.
Car
Drive east on Nuwara Eliya-Kandy Road (A5) for about 1.5 km, then turn left onto Single Tree Hill Road. Parking is available near the entrance. Caution is advised on the steep, winding road.
