The bus company Reis Nordland operates services. The nearest bus stop to the trailhead is "Fredvang kryss," served by the Lofoten Express (Bus 300) and line 742.

The most convenient way to access the Ryten hike is by car. From the E10 highway, take the turn-off towards Fredvang. Follow signs for 'Yttersand' to reach parking areas.

From the "Fredvang kryss" bus stop, hikers face a walk of approximately 4 to 5.5 kilometers to reach the various trailheads for Ryten and Kvalvika Beach.
