How to get there

Bus

Numerous bus lines serve the area, with Jernbanetorget as the primary destination. The Bjørvika bus stop is even closer to the Opera House, served by lines such as 70 and 83.

Metro

All metro lines converge at Jernbanetorget station, a short walk from the Opera.

Train

Oslo Central Station (Oslo S) is a 5-10 minute walk from the Opera House and serves all regional and local trains, including the Flytoget Airport Express Train.

Bicycle parking is available along Operagaten and on the south side of the building.

Car
The Opera House is accessible by car via major roads. Parking garages are located at Sørenga, Prinsens gate, and within the Oslo Central Station complex.

Taxi
Taxis are readily available throughout Oslo and can drop passengers off directly in front of the Opera House.

Walking
A leisurely walk from Karl Johans gate or Akershus Fortress will lead you to the Opera in under 20 minutes.
