Take the L2 train from Oslo S to Ljan or Holmlia stations. From Ljan, it's a 20-minute walk to the trail.

A well-marked bike path runs along Mosseveien from the city center to Hvervenbukta.

A combined footpath and bike path starts near Bjørvika, following the fjord along Mosseveien.
