Regional bus routes 150 and 160 depart from Prostneset terminal in Tromsø. The Arctic Route offers daily departures from Tromsø to the Breivikeidet ferry quay.

Driving is a popular option, with routes via E8 and Route 91 to Breivikeidet for ferry access to Svensby. Alternatively, take the E8 and E6 to Olderdalen.
