The park is accessible by private vehicle via the A4 main road. From Arugam Bay, drive northeast on the A4 towards Pottuvil. From Colombo, take the Southern Expressway and continue towards Buttala, Monaragala, and Siyambalanduwa, or via Nuwara Eliya, Badulla, and Monaragala.

Public buses traveling along the A4 route between towns like Pottuvil and Akkaraipattu pass by the park.
