Express buses from Nagano Station and direct buses from Tokyo (Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal) and airports (Narita and Haneda) arrive at Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal.

Shuttle

The Hakuba Valley Shuttle Bus connects resorts, and Happo-One operates its own free shuttle services, connecting key locations like Hakuba Station and the Happo Bus Terminal.

Train
Recommended
Take the Hokuriku Shinkansen to Nagano Station, then an express bus to Hakuba. Alternatively, take the limited express Azusa train from Shinjuku Station to Hakuba Station.

Cable Car
Within Hakuba Happo-One, gondolas and ski lifts (cable cars) transport skiers up the mountain, with the Adam Gondola as a main access point.

Car
Drive via the Joshinetsu Expressway to the Nagano Interchange, or the Azumino Interchange, or the Itoigawa Interchange. Parking is available at the resort base stations.

Taxis are readily available in Hakuba for travel between the station, bus terminal, accommodations, and the ski resort.
