The Cairns Esplanade is accessible by car via the Esplanade, Pier Point Road, Sheridan Street, and Abbott Street. Paid parking is available at the Southern Esplanade (Lagoon) Car Park and Hospital Esplanade Car Park. Free parking is available at the Skate Park Car Park and McKenzie Street Car Park.
