How to get there

Bus

Bus line 6 to Lyderhornsveien stop or line 44 to Gravdal for the main trailhead. For Ulriken, use lines 5, 6, or 12 to Montana.

Cable Car

The Ulriksbanen cable car transports hikers from its lower station near Haukeland University Hospital to the summit of Mount Ulriken.

Taxi
Recommended
Taxis can drop passengers off at trailheads, such as Gravdal for Lyderhorn or near the Ulriken cable car station.

Car
Drive to Gravdalsbakken for Lyderhorn, or utilize parking at Haukeland hospital or Montana Hostel for Ulriken.

Walking
Walking from the city center to the Montana trailhead for Ulriken takes about an hour. The journey on foot from central Bergen to the Lyderhorn area is approximately 7.5 km.
